reading katakana
another little milestone:
Went on jugem.jp, a blog hosting site, and was able to figure out some of the katakana words (from English)
ホーム - home
モブログ - moblog (mobile blog)
テンプレート - template (had to look this up in dictionary)
サポート - support
Granted, figuring out the EN from the katakana is a far cry from knowing hiragana and kanji meanings. But it was still exciting to be able to read these words and having the knowledge allow me to know what the buttons mean on the website.
Finished studying the RTKana and Kanji early. Listened to JPod Ep 1 dialog w/ the transcription on repeat and tried to imitate what they were saying.
